FAQ

Do I need all 3 products?

To achieve the best results from your skin products you should cleanse & moisturise daily and exfoliate weekly. Mali 'Get Your Glow Back' pack is an easy to use, 3 step routine covering all your skincare needs. However you can purchase each product individually if desired.

Are Mali products okay to use on sensitive skin?

Mali products don't contain any synthetic fragrances or chemicals, eliminating most reactions but if you are a sensitive little petal, we do recommend doing a test patch first just in case. If a reaction does occur, contact us on info@maliskincare.com so we can try and work out the problem.

Are there any tiny plastic beads used in Mali 'Get Glowing' exfoliating crystals to scrub off the dead skin?

Definitely not in our products.... there are no synthetic materials in our products at all. Mali 'Get Glowing' exfoliating crystals comprise of Vitamin C to brighten dull complexions, and the fruit-derived Malic Acid providing deep exfoliation.

Do I have to cleanse in the mornings?

We recommend cleansing morning and night with "Get Cleansing' cream cleanser. Morning cleansing is an important part of your skincare routine, not only to cleanse the face of any excess oils and impurities that may have appeared during the night but to also prep the skin ready for the day. Makeup will apply much better on a cleansed and moisturised face.

I haven't used an elixir before, will it make my skin feel oily?

Using an Elixir or oil can take a bit to get used to as it leaves the skin feeling a bit different to what it would if you are used to a cream. If you are finding it feels a bit too oily or greasy then reduce the amount you apply from 2 pumps to 1. Make sure you are warming the product in your palms before gently pressing onto the face and neck, allowing to soak in for a few minutes.

I have oily skin, will using an elixir/oil cause me to breakout?

There is a great misconception that oily skin shouldn't be moisturised as it will cause breakouts. Not True.... Oilier skin types still need hydrating, because if you remove all the oil by using harsh foaming cleansers and then don't replace the moisture with a good hydrating cream or elixir your skin will create more oil naturally, causing congestion and breakouts. If you do experience breakouts after using an elixir or oil it may be due to the impurities coming out of your skin from  using a new product, try using less product eg. 1 pump instead of 2.

        Definitely not....
